There is a story behind where this name originally came from, but bottom line is when Terry Kizer started his custom painting and restoration business back in the early 80’s, this is what he named the business. For some ten years, even after taking on Mr. Turbo, he continued to run both businesses until it became apparent that time would no longer allow both. So for a while the name lived on as many people in racing pinned the name back on him as the Hired Gun for Mo Parsons, and later for Jack O’Mally of Orient Express. He even agreed to loan the name to another racing team for a while.

So what are we doing with it now? Well, it’s still our legal name, and we’ve always had a soft spot for the name and we always loved the logo, which was designed by our friend and, now well known artist, Allan Rodewald.

So, now is our opportunity to better serve our customers by bringing on a long list of products that go beyond turbo systems and parts. Although many of these parts have always been a part of our daily business, most people don’t relate them to Mr. Turbo, because of the obvious reason, “turbo”. Truth is, we build bikes here, street bikes, race bikes, cruisers, t-rex’s, you name it, we build it. So we utilize many after market components from chassis parts and wheels, to cranks, rods, tranny work, clutches, it’s all being sold through Mr. Turbo, but most folks don’t realize we have it. This gives us a chance to bring other parts into the picture as well, pipes, bore kits, dress up parts, chrome body parts, billet chassis parts, anything and everything to assemble your hot rod bike any way you want.

Many thanks to our customers for your continued support.
